Day 1

Reception at the airport, transfer and installation in a private home in the center. Complimentary dinner.

Havana

Day 2

Havana, the vibrant capital of Cuba, is a destination that captivates travelers with its rich history, culture, and an atmosphere that seems suspended in time. Known for its colonial architecture, classic cars and contagious energy.

After breakfast, you will walk through the old town of Havana, visit the colonial squares and the interiors of beautiful residences, ride in an old American convertible from the 1950s and take your first salsa class with family. Night in a private home and dinner at leisure.

Havana - The Terraces Nature Reserve

Day 3

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. Departure to Viñales Valley, stop and visit the The Terraces Nature Reserve, contact with the community in the mountains, lunch in a restaurant on the ruins of a 19th century French farm dedicated to coffee culture. Accommodation registration at the home of a family in Viñales Valley and dinner at home.

The The Terraces Natural Reserve is a rural tourist community of sustainable development located on the banks of the San Juan River that offers spectacular landscapes of exuberant nature, within the Sierra del Rosario in the Province of Artemisa and declared a Nature Reserve by UNESCO. Biosphere in 1985.

Viñales Valley - Horseback Riding

Day 4

You are now in the Viñales Valley National Park, a landscape declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.

After breakfast, you go out on horseback for a ride of approximately 2 hours, you finish your morning with a Canopie (zip line) over the valley, then, after lunch at a restaurant in the Viñales Valley, you arrive at the Moncada Valley, to visit the largest cave in Cuba (Santo Tomás). Night at the family home. At night in Viñales Valley you can appreciate and enjoy music almost everywhere.

Walking tour through the Viñales Valley - Salsa classes

Day 5

After breakfast, you will go on a hike through the Viñales Valley, visiting a tobacco farm where Alexis, its owner, and Nerys, his mother, will show you the secrets of tobacco leaf cultivation and teach you how to make one of the famous Habanos.

Tasting of the three sacred aromas: Cuban coffee, Tobacco made for you and Rum from the region.

Lunch in a typical restaurant in the middle of the valley.

In the afternoon, you will visit the town of Viñales Valley before participating in your second salsa class. Like the day before, dine at your leisure and the evening can end in a typical bar to listen to music and dance, of course!

Levisa Key - Snorkeling

Day 6

After breakfast we will leave for the port of Palma Rubia to board the boat for a journey of just over an hour to Levisa Key, which is one of the most beautiful keys in Cuba.

Upon reaching the islet, snorkel to discover the rich fauna that surrounds the coral reef and then enjoy the beach.

Lunch on site and return to Viñales Valley at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at home.

Zapata Swamp - Santa Clara City

Day 7

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. Say goodbye to the Viñales Valley and head to Santa Clara (5-hour transfer). Along the way, you will stop in the Zapata area for lunch (own expense).

Upon arrival in Santa Clara, you will visit Che Guevara's mausoleum at the Santa Clara Battle Monument, before checking into a guest house for the night. Dinner.

The Hanabanilla river and lake - Sierra del Escambray

Day 8

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. This morning we left for the Sierra del Escambray, a mountainous area located in the center of the island of Cuba, which we will arrive in just over an hour. After lunch, accompanied by a local guide, We will sail on a boat along the Hanabanilla River to have dinner in a typical restaurant in the middle of the lake and spend the night in a bivouac.

Hanabanilla - Topes de Collantes Natural Park

Day 9

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. Today you will take a hike up the Colicambia, a rocky spur that overlooks the lake and then the boat takes you to the Cortina de Jibacoa dam. You will meet your driver and then your route will take you to the Galician farm where you will spend the night in a bivouac.

Topes de Collantes - Trinidad

Day 10

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. In the morning we take a walk through the Guanayara Park, the Melodioso River Trail, then take the road back to Topes de Collantes before having lunch at the Mi Retiro restaurant, in the heart of the mountain.

In the afternoon we leave for Trinidad, declared a "World Heritage Site" since 1988. Upon arrival in Trinidad, you will stay with a Cuban family.

Colonial and historical city of Trinidad

Day 11

After breakfast, your day is dedicated to discovering this magnificent and unique city, a true living museum where time seems to have stopped. You will get lost in the typical and colorful streets, getting to know the hospitality that characterizes the locals.

Visit the craft market and the potter's house. In the afternoon you will take your third salsa class, this time with a real team of professionals. In the evening, you will enjoy an excellent grilled lobster before going out for a drink and dancing in the old Trinidad.

Trinidad - Sancti Spíritus - Santa Maria Key

Day 12

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. Today we will resume the journey and head towards the city of Sancti Spíritus.

The historic centre of Sancti Spíritus preserves buildings of a wide variety of architectural styles, among which the main Parish Church, the Teatro Principal and the bridge over the Yayabo River stand out.

After lunch in Sancti Spíritus, we head to Santa Maria Key, where you will stay in a hotel by the sea.

You will have the afternoon free to enjoy this fabulous place, where the turquoise waters and white sand of one of the most beautiful Cuban keys are found.

Santa Maria Key is located in the middle portion of the Jardines del Rey archipelago, it has an approximate distance of 16 km long.

Santa Maria Key - Havana

Day 13

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. You will spend your last morning on the beach between swimming in 30° water and relaxing on the sun loungers (possibility of taking advantage of the various activities offered by the hotel, catamaran, kayak, etc.). After lunch, you will meet your driver to head towards Havana. Arrival at the end of the afternoon in Havana and installation in a local house.

Return

Day 14

Breakfast. Accommodation check out. You take advantage of your last moments in Havana to do some shopping and soak up the musical and lively atmosphere of the city for the last time. In the afternoon, and depending on the time of your return flight, private transfer to Havana airport.
